Connecting the breath and body invites in harmony and balance to the mind while allowing the body to gently warm and open for optimal skeletal and muscular system functioning. Yin Yoga

60-Minute Session

Yin yoga is a type of restorative yoga. We use bolsters, pillows, blankets or other supports to ease your body into a positions of extreme comfort while gently and patiently encouraging muscular and tissue relaxation throughout the entire body. Through a mindful surrendering and calming of the body, we activate our parasympathetic nervous system which promotes cellular health, detoxification, and rebuilding, while allowing cortisol, the stress hormone, and other arousal-related hormones (e.g. adrenaline) to drop. 

​

Of course, higher energy (yang) states are important for productivity and problem solving at work, but too much and burnout can occur. For optimal mental and physical health, we aim to balance the yin and yang activities and mental states throughout our lives. Yin yoga will help your team members balance the "go-go-go" mentality of work and life and experience true harmony and relaxation.

Rebirth
